Holm Select’s asparagus produced on the farm comes from our dedicated patch of 60 acres growing organic asparagus through modern organic methods.

Organic asparagus is a fantastically nutritious vegetable. It contains no fat or cholesterol and is very low in sodium. It is a great source of folic acid, amino acid and potassium. And what’s more, being organic it is totally pesticide free! The asparagus season will usually start mid to late April and finish in late June.

Our British asparagus is available to members of the public, box schemes, farm shops, restaurants, the wholesale market and supermarkets. Owing to popular demand, we are planting an additional 18 acres in 2012. By carefully selecting varieties, it is our intention to extend our season by 2 weeks.
