Organic Padron Peppers

Otherwise known as Pimento peppers, these tasty little green Padrons are excellent for tapas.

Bake them for 15-20 miniutes in olive oil and a sprinkling of salt for a wonderful starter or drinks accompaniment.

'Padrons' are not a sweet pepper, but rather more of a hot pepper that is harvested and eaten when it is immature, (1.5 to 2 inches long) and not red ripe. 1 out of 10 peppers may be hot at this immature stage but all would be hot if allowed to grow any larger.
